Grievance Redressal Policy
At GramChaitanya Tax Portal, we are committed to providing a reliable, transparent, and user-friendly platform for citizens to access property tax information and make online tax payments. We value user feedback and strive to address grievances promptly and fairly.
Scope
Users may raise grievances related to:
- Online tax payment transactions
- Payment status discrepancies
- Receipt generation issues
- Property information displayed on the portal
- Technical issues while using the portal
- Other portal-related services
Grievance Submission and Escalation
For any grievance, complaint, correction request, or query related to property records, tax assessments, tax payments, receipts, ownership details, or other Gram Panchayat services, users must first contact the respective Gram Panchayat directly. The contact details of the selected Gram Panchayat are prominently displayed in the page header throughout the portal.
The concerned Gram Panchayat shall be the primary point of contact for addressing and resolving such grievances.
If the response received from the respective Gram Panchayat is unsatisfactory, delayed, or if the grievance remains unresolved, users may escalate the matter to the GramChaitanya Support Team using the contact details provided below. GramChaitanya will make reasonable efforts to coordinate with the concerned Gram Panchayat and assist in facilitating a resolution.
Resolution Process
- All grievances will be acknowledged upon receipt by the concerned Gram Panchayat or GramChaitanya Support Team, as applicable.
- We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and facilitate resolution of grievances in a timely manner.
- Issues relating to property records, tax assessments, ownership details, tax calculations, penalties, exemptions, or refunds may require verification and approval from the concerned Gram Panchayat.
- Resolution timelines may vary depending on the nature, complexity, and availability of information required to address the grievance.
Limitations
GramChaitanya Tax Portal acts solely as a technology platform that facilitates access to property tax information and online payment services for participating Gram Panchayats.
Decisions regarding property records, ownership details, tax assessments, tax calculations, penalties, exemptions, refunds, and other statutory matters remain solely under the jurisdiction of the respective Gram Panchayat and applicable government authorities.
While GramChaitanya will make reasonable efforts to assist users and facilitate communication with the concerned Gram Panchayat, GramChaitanya does not have the authority to alter, approve, or reject official Gram Panchayat records or decisions.
